Chicago is in our DNA

Chicago Not Dogs has not been born overnight. The core menu comes from decades of tasting and experiences before we began our own vegan journey. After many years passed we just had to cave into the hunger cravings. Starting our journey in San Diego, we quickly realized that our favorite sandwiches were nowhere to be found there, and it was time to make them vegan anyways! Now we bring our (and your) favorite Chicago flavors back to the Windy City. 

We source all the authentic ingredients that make Chicago-style food rich in taste and combine it with the best alternative proteins available. We use some of the best products in the market for our dogs and sausage, we roll our own Notzarella sticks and then our must have house-made Italian bef seitan loaf.  Each of these sandwiches, along with a handful of fresh cut fries, is meant to bring us back to the tastes we love all while keeping our vegan lifestyle intact.
